We had automatic shutters on the grill that would work in tandem with the radiator. They would open and close automatically as be the same effect as a grill cover. We would plug the engines in just like anyone else when we shut them off. The fuel tanks had Arctic Fox heaters in them... two types... the one that would circulate warm coolant thru them while you were operating, and electric that we would plug in when stopped. We also had plug in battery blankets on the batteries. We would run pure alchohol injection into the air system to keep it from freezing. We would also use tubes in the tires.... when the tires sat for a while, the bead would sometimes come unset and let the air out. Tubes prevented that type of air leak. Just never set the brakes after running!!! That is unless you want to spend some time under the truck in -50F weather trying to get the brakes loose. Cool down on brakes is critical before setting.

My 9400 has an ISX. I disabled the EGR setup, so it runs like it should.
