What are they?????? I've been seeing them and there gawdy looking Tankers ALL over the place. They just look like Huge gas stations....

They are!

But they all have a deli type thing inside of them. Food prepared as ordered. None of this we'll make 40 burgers & a hour later they are still selling those 40 burgers.

 

I'll have to stop the next time I see one...

It is a self order kiosk. You place your own order. Go to the register & pay for it. Then the woman behind the counter prepares your food after is says paid on her screen.

Their onion rings are awesome.... Almost as good as whataburger.

And since your in Charlotte, they use to have a whataburger in downtown Mooresville. It was still there when I moved 6 years ago. Not sure about now.

 

Best burger? Five Guys Burgers...hands down!!

 

no but they still do have franchise ownerships. however, given the monies involved, many franchise owners have a "lock" either on an entire state or radius, making it difficult for someone to open up a Micky D's in a particular area. this is particularly true of the 'Burger King" franchises out here. ONE corporation owns ALL the Burger Kings just in my state alone...!!

SO LEASE/PURCHASE.......??? i don't thing so....given that most "start ups" of a Micky D's would be at least $500,000 (and up)

 

Definately Whataburger! Double meat, double cheese with a chocolate shake. In & Out is a close 2nd though.

The french fries are awesome too.

 

I am east of AZ and I heard of them.. Not sure I agree though..
