Two more words.....Run LegalPaddletrucker Thanks this. -
Hey lets not assume he meant loose leaf in a bad way
you can run legal with loose leaf but i guess for the purpose of this thread I see what he was getting at

Don't lie on your log book, if you are caught YOU will have to answer for it.
Log it real and write "forced dispatch" in your log book.
Then you will just be put out of service if caught. (hopefully?) -
only bad things can happen just ask this guy

The bad thing about it is this what small outfits have to do to keep competitive. I say do what you gotta do to get the job done, just know your limits and keep in mind you'll take the heat if you get busted. Trust me your better off like this than making pocket change at a super carrier running "legal".
freightlinerfever11 Thanks this. -
Stay with them! You're free to run hard and log however you want. It doesn't get better than that! I'm in the same boat as you except I got cattle behind me. Just do whatever you need to with your logbook and drive! Don't worry about dot, tickets, scales, ect. I'm pretty sure mom and pop won't hang you out to dry if something happens. Enjoy that big, fat check every week. Show them you'll work, and in turn they'll work with you when you need it. Gotta love them mom and pops!tracyq144 and Boardhauler Thank this.
