I worked their a very short time. They SUCKED! -
I would stay the h e double toothpicks away from Arnold. They just got bought out by US Express. That's enough said right there....run, run, run, run, away from them.
Here's a thought for you. A company I used to drive for out of Memphis TN. It's called Mid South Transport. They run all over the area you live in. Plus you get a brand new Pete or International Pro Star. Also they get you home EVERYWEEKEND. I averaged around $600 to $700 a week there. They have terminals in Atlanta, Nashville and Memphis. That is the area that you will run mostly. It's a lot of short runs and drops and hooks. Very little live loads. They keep you busy.
PS if you apply there tell them I sent you. I still know a few of the dispatchers there. They are a good company and will treat you right. PM me and I'll tell you my name and their number over there. -
Used to drive for Arnold. Did a lot of sittin. I now drive for Transco Lines Inc. My worst week was 2800 miles. That's only cause my truck was in the shop for 2 days. They only start you at .33 per mile, but the miles are there. Good equipment too. I'm in a 2007 Pete 386. 13 speed movin a 475hp cat. Small outfit. Bout 300 trucks. People are great. They promise 1 day off for every wk out. If you stay out 8 wks, you can take 8 days off. Look them up online.
