I'm happy for you that your having a good experience with Swift but that doesn't seem to be the consensus. Swift's reputation was built by Swift. I can't speak to working for Swift because I haven't done it. I can only speak to my dealings with their employees and we all know employees make a company. I try to remain optimistic never the less because with something like 16,000 trucks there's going to be bad eggs and few bad eggs can spoil the bunch.

Yeah, but you can't base your opinions on those people either. You have no idea whether they are just talking sheet or blowing off steam. Some are viable while others are probably talking out of their arses, you know? You never know who is embellishing his/her story and who is straight up. I'm another Swift employee who will have to be fired before I ever think of quitting. I love my job.

    Completely agree.

So what? Not everyone is a trucking expert out of the gate. It might be that SWIFT is willing to give her an opportunity to learn how to do the job. I mean, where does one go to learn to be a "dispatcher" specifically? Everyone, including drivers themselves have to learn to do this job. I think its ignorant to presume someone has to know everything about the job the very first day they start it. Is one to assume "you" was an expert the very first day you got behind the wheel?????

Don't put words in my mouth. I just stated some facts and gave my opinion about those facts and it's in my humble opinion that no one should dispatch a truck who hasn't warmed a seat themselves. Any way you cut it a dispatcher is a supervisor position. Would you really want a teen aged girl fresh out of high school with no real world experience in a position of power over you? Personally I want a dispatcher who knows what drivers go through and knows enough about the industry to help me keep the wheels rolling.

Now don't confuse anyone with facts. Our years of dealing with problems created by inexperience is trumped by there month of experience. It says so right in the SWIFT drivers manual. Only had my truck hit twice in 3 million miles, both time were by SWIFT drivers, and both times my truck was parked in a legal marked space, both time SWIFT tried to get out of the repairs without success.

Injun......logic won't change a thing. You're wasting your typing time.

Powder Joints: did you ever think perhaps it wasn't that those 2 Swift drivers couldn't drive well but perhaps that they read some of your forum posts, didn't like you and CHOSE to hit you?

    Jez sayin'.
