I don't believe anyone should have drivers licenses, except commercial drivers. Driving is a right not a privilege.

First and foremost if they are illigal immigrants and should not be here then they should not have a licence. Matter of fact if an illegal tries to get one he or she should be deported. That way we don't have to worry about that law.

Driving is a privilege - not a "right" ... and illigal immagrants are not protected by our constitution anyway.

No, I think he meant it. There are some folks out there who have not actually read the Constitution who believe driving is mentioned as a right. I have heard several different versions of this assertion basically adding up to a right to conduct carriages either pulled by a horse or horseless on any public road. Problem is, none of those who "quote" this "clause" can tell me exactly where it is written in the Constitution. I've read the document numerous times. They can't tell me where it is because it's not there.

But they will swear on a stack of Bibles it is because some sage "scholar" said it is.

Does it count if one gets a drivers license out of a cracker jack box?
