Hello all I graduate cdl school in Philadelphia this week. Trying to make my final decision. I was told if I get on one of the dedicated accounts in pa I can maximize my Home time. I see us xpress trucks around my house parked up for the night almost everyday. Just trying to get an insight from us xpress drivers that are on this account. Can anyone tell me any details about this because its either us xpress or tmc. I have a daughter that needs a lot of attention so I need to maximize hometime and make money so any info will help me. Please anyone.

What details did they give you about your dedicated account thats what I want to get on. Are you done with orientation? I want to go to us express or tmc which ever gives me more home time. Any details about the dedicated account will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Miz and congrats on graduating!! The ex got a dedicated run out of training (Dollar tree) cuz his trainer was doing that run and they needed drivers. It was based out of Berwick PA. He was generally home Friday nights and left Sunday PM or Monday Am depending on where he went ( You see where I live so he had a 5 hr drive back here too) Out of the time he worked at USX he only missed like 2 weekends with home time. It really was not bad at all. I hope that helps

No problem and good luck. USX was not that bad for a ''bottom feeder'' company. The CPM/over all pay was pretty decent and the FM was good!

I keep hearing alot of solo drivers don't get miles. Any info.

dedicated run like Dollar tree was not alot of miles as you may be in one city for the day and do 2-5 unloads/stores. You get paid for the unloads so it kind of evened out pay wise. He was bringing home about what a normal OTR driver would get for 2000-2500 miles week.
jerryy123 Thanks this.
