that was one thing i did ask the lease guys and the atbs people ...can they take my monthly stats while i am a company driver and convert them to show what i would be doing as a lease driver ... i know there are alot of varibles and the fact you cant get a straight answer out of them reminds me of used call dealers... i was checking out knight since i have some time before i go back to school and there lease program is very striaght forward with cost for each type of truck they sale the buy back cost and what the warrenty covers and wont... will go back to central and see if they are that straight forwward as well..
i like the idea of leasing from a tax stand point since we itemize our taxes now anyway all those deducitons are tempting.. i know there are better deals out there with companys once you get some time and miles under your belt which is why i am doing as much investigating now so i dont lease now for one or two or three years and then regret it..there is an old saying there is no experince like experince you just have to learn by doing you can read about it but until you do it you just dont know what it is like... i do appriciate the feed back and help form those that have been through this before.. -

they say 10 hours continuous. It could also come in handy as a backup in the winter or whenever your battery quits. If you were planning on buying your leased truck then would be worth it to get one asap .Click to expand...Click to expand... -
Never had to in a dry box but I have a load of hay so is a trailer washout after something Central will pay for and ok to do in a dry van?

Only problem I have with the battery APU's is, what happens when your doing a 34? How long will you have to run your trk to recharge the batteries. Also, when you do HT, you'll have to turn it off and turn off or unplug the fridge, if you have one. Not a problem with the diesel type plus, they'll keep your trk batteries charged.

I was there last week. They will let you drop and hook if they have an empty.bbechtel16 said: ↑Anyone know anything about CRSUP, Castle & Cooke/Continential Refrigerated Services, University Park, IL (Chicago)? I will be there tomm. no problem but delivery isn't scheduled 'til Thursday at 1300. Could be a drop facility as it says don't take empty R trls out of there? Milt says he doesn't think it is?Click to expand...

River Runner! I met you last year in SLC when I was starting right? How are ya?! Thanks a mil for that. No one in the office seems to know. I wish I could say I was surprised!

Central is certified to do road tests, or if they're not, they bring the instructors in to the school you're testing at, and you will road test there. You will not road test again in your home state. Once you finish school with Central, you have a CDL, not a permit. So, once you get home, you will transfer that CDL to the state you live in.LargeCar3406 said: ↑is central certified by the state of utah too do cdl road test's? and do they supply a truck for u to use on the day of the road test at the state of ur residence or u gotta pay too rent the truck?Click to expand...
