Mr. Haney want to give a big hell yeah shout out for you......:biggrin_25514:

Did the marine cam, fuel temp wire, 7cz ecm flash, pdi extrude hone manifold, and BW Turbo,
and this MFR is bad to the bone.....Havent ran it but 700 miles so dont know on fuel mileage
yet and the mechanic told me to run the truck in 17th instead of 18th for a little while to get
some heat built up in the engine to help seat the rings and have been doing this...By the fuel
guage it seems to be doing about the same on fuel but im running at 17-1750 rpm instead of
1450-1500 running around in 17th....guna check this tank of fuel just to see but will have a
better answer on next tank of fuel im ditching the 17th gear thing and going to my normal driving
    style and check it then....

Power is definately there if you need it....hills are now flat road to this truck....guna have to tint
my windows before people start thinking im smileing Bob driveing this truck

Dag gone you doubted my word................LOL

Load it up and run the snout out of it.........make it work and quit babyin' it..........high gear and hammer down, she'll seat the rings

I'm glad you like the way it runs..........the horsepower bug has bitten again and has acquired a new addict.

No i dont have any dyno numbers....dont really need to dyno i know what it will do....

Mr. Haney what would be wrong with me doing the injector trim codes? The guy at the shop told me
he could do it no problem next time im thru there he would do it for me.....Would it help even more
or what is the purpose of setting the injector codes?

Rollin Coal that cam was $1133.00 and they did take my MBN cam for core

When I talked with him on the phone.......he never set your injector trim codes for the new injectors you put in they still match the old ones. I don't default them to a single code because of imbalance between cylinders. CAT injectors can have as much as a 12-13% flow difference in a set, so one cylinder can be firing strong and one weak. The trim codes are used by the ECM to balance flow evenly between cylinders.

He's going to pull the valve covers and take the new codes off your injectors and and match the ECM to them. You should have a smoother running engine afterwards without any power loss.

    Strider Thanks this.

been awhile but thought i would put some latest info up.....

drove the truck about 5500 miles and gaulded a piston that has been a confermed
bad liner was the cause....after it was fixed the 2nd time the shop put the 5232 trim codes
in and i undid the fueltemp wire and my 1st tank of fuel ran thru the engine was 6.73mpg....
Before any of the mods with the engine stock best i ever got and it wasnt every tank was 5.7mpg.....

Anybody wondering if the mods are worth it....do the math....not saying everybody will gain 1mpg
but IMO it was worth every penny and soon all those pennies will be made back with this kinda fuel mileage

    Yo Haney :biggrin_25514:

well i hope its rite this time....ive only ran it about 2600 since getting it back the 2nd
time....got a good all interstate load to deliver monday morning in san antonio...will be coming back
empty so i want to check fuel mpg on this run and see how it does...we just run local stuff and the majority
of the time are on farm roads or highways where you have several little towns to stop in or slow down
in....so curious how its going to do on a all big roads run
