When you are in Fairbanks Alaska you don't have many options. The office my doctor is in charges $109 for theirs, so considering we are talking Alaska that not too unreasonable

I've paid $75 for my medical card. I could've gotten it for free if I had planned ahead and went thru the VA.

What does it matter? What people pay is their decision. But no, I don't watch that show.

Versus, we have chiropractors in Iowa that will do them for $30. Most docs here charge around $60, so any place high priced, twice that would be reasonable for them!!!:biggrin_2558:

I'll never go to a chiropractor again. The last physical I had in Dubuque, IA I couldn't move my right arm for 3 days and my neck stayed stiff for a month for all the pretzel moves he put me in, pushing down on my head, etc. What a quack!

If you've never been to a chiropractor before, I could see why you feel that way. It's because your body had adapted to being out of alignment, and him/her putting everything back into alignment wasn't what the body was looking for. It would have aggravated the muscles, and cause you a good amount of pain.

If you're in pain that could be attributed to having something out of alignment, it's good to see a chiro, but if there's no pain, there's no need to be adjusted.

First WELCOME to the board, second the "med card" is the slip of paper/card that a doctor fills out stating your physically ok to drive and it has to be renewed like a drivers license does.

My hubby does not pay to have his renewed as he is a company driver and they pay for it.
