Hi, I been researchin a few companies in my area and am trying to decide about these two. Regency Transportation in franklin,MA. and NFI Industrie in Worcrster,MA. I am planning on running NorthEast with either one. I am looking for a company that can pay me for the miles I run , i have not read too much about Regency but have read the good and bad about NFI.
So, if you have any input, I would like to hear back from you. Thanks!!!

Never heard of Regency. NFI is OK though, been around since 1923 or something like that.

Hey, Thanks for the reply. I read my post and the lettering was so small it was impossible to read. I went over to NFI in Worcester,MA. this week and talked to them. Regency is a NorthEast regional carrier. Also in my area. They have been around since the 80,s? But I was told they start at .45cpm.
So, I am going to talk to them too and flip a coin.:biggrin_25523: Thanks for your reply. Zoejoe.

i WAS OFFERED A JOB REGIONAL...HOME WEEKENDS.... optional per diem pay ($40 a day) or not..42cpm base pay.....take truck home or park
at their Kearny,NJ terminal.......I made sure to ask the questions so the miles probably arent there but the trucks are good and they do DAC checks
so anyone interested in a decent Northeast deal needs not lie on the application. They dont do a DAC until after the road and drug test so they can let you
go just when you think your in ok....

Looking into Regency. They seem to be pretty good company. They have both local and regional in the Northeast. The pay is better than average from what they say but would like more info on benifits. Any help would be appreciated Thanks

Your in luck , 95% of their trucks are new and they really stay on top of them. Miles as much as you want to drive. You will make more money as a slip seat than regional. If you do regional you will start in a 587 and then go into a Cascadia. All their trucks have 10rr 3.42 rears DD13. Benefits you can buy your own for the same that they can match with you. There's no difference. Trucks are washed every other week if your regional. Day cab drivers start at 42 cents per mile regional is 42 but if your logs are perfect they will give you a bonus. 95 % of their trucks are electronic logs. Their day cabs consist of Pete's and cascadia's they also have the new 579 Pete day cab. They are governed at 64. Dispatchers are easy to deal with for the most part. Only one has a bit of a cranky attitude. But hey that's life.

I should have stated all their freightliner a have the Detroit the new Pete's have the 455 MX Pete motor, it pulls decent. Most loads are 26 tons. You'll run the Northeast.
