This is mostly 4 wheelers, but I can't stand when they rush up to a 4 way stop to try to beat you so they can go first. Sometimes I have CLEARLY gotten there first but they will nudge out in the intersection thinking they can scare you out of going.

I just say a few bad words about the persons mother and go on about my day!

There are so many annoying things that go on day in and day out that most of it I just let roll off my back... but 4wheeler riding along on the corner of my trailer drives me nuts!

The other thing I have a hard time ignoring is when CRST merges onto the highway and does everything in his/her power to hang me out in the left lane after I move over to help them merge. Of course CRST isn't the only outfit that does it but I swear they all go to the same trucking school and are taught to do it. CRST drivers are all about to get the 4wheeler treatment from me when it comes to merging...

You and Me both IROC. Personally, I think lane change or turn without signal should be a $500 ticket.

The other one I despise is driving in the rain with lights out. Why the heck doesn't Detroit make it automatic? Wipers turned on, all lights (not just DRLs) come on...

:biggrin_25513:Had that happen to me the other day, it wasn't a 4 wheeler, but a big rig. He follow me for five miles than decided to pass so he could take the off ramp. I guess he didn't want to wait a minute.:biggrin_25513:

Don't knock all drivers for a company just because some do it. It is mostly those newbie drivers that still have the mentality of a 4 wheeler. But, I for one do not like it. I have it happen to me all the time to by other drivers so it is just not the company I work for that does it. Do not put everyone into one category

Seriously! They're speed limit here in CA is 10 MPH faster than us trucks, and they have the ability to get to that speed what seems like 100x faster than we do. Yet they merge on at 45-50 MPH causing me to shut off the cruise and re do everything. Completely stupid..

I'll also ad when I am being courteous enough to change lanes when a line of cars is merging on, and instead of everyone getting up to speed and going around me, they hang out there beside me.

    1st Peeve:

California. Four lane highway in one direction going up a hill. Why do four wheelers insist on traveling in the right lanes, knowing a truck may need to switch lanes to pass the other truck traveling slower up a hill?

    2nd Peeve:

Middle of nowhere, USA. No traffic on a multilane highway. Mr. Weirdo insists on tailgating your truck while making no attempts to speed up and pass. You slow down, he slows down. What the hell, get away from my truck and stop riding my ###.

    Final Peeve:

You're in a governed truck, and happen to catch up and attempt to pass a truck that's traveling slower than you. He suddenly speeds up and takes off only to slow down again. Truckers love playing games I guess. Get your mentally retarded behind off of the road. The highway is no place for your stupid games.

Not just CRST with this uncourteous horrible habit. There are alot of special drivers out on the road. I went from giving the finger to drivers like that to giving the gunshot symbol with my thumb and index finger. It gets some people scared quick and they slow waaaaaay down.

    Big trucks:
(First is an almost identical peeve as JimDriv3r)
I'm usually rolling along at 63mph, cruise control set and minding my own. I realize I'm creeping up on someone's back door, so I move into the left lane to pass. Mr. Or Ms. Supertrucker speeds up to just above what he or she thinks my governor is set at even though, for the past hour, they were perfectly content at 62. Knowing the game, I floor it and roll to the top of my 69mph. This seems to irritate Supertrucker, so they floor it too just to keep me from getting past. I slide back in the right side to wait for a nice, long hill and let everybody else get on by...because Señor or Señora Knothead wants to play games. And when I blow by them on the next hill, I get, at the very least, a dirty look.

The other one that makes me see red: I'm once again minding my own, set at 63. I get passed by Señor Casanova who spies me and slows down to get a better look. I don't mind if someone wants to get a closer gander. That's not the issue. Get your leer and move on. But, no. Mr. Ladysman has to get in front of me and slow way down. Now I'm in a game of Pass-Me-Pass-Ya which will end up in one of three ways: I take an exit while I'm following just to get away. I tell him on the radio, for all to hear, that I hope his truck travels faster than 950 feet per second because I'm loading right now. (He doesn't need to know I don't carry.) He eventually gets his nerve and weenie-waves me...at which time, I point and laugh.

    Four-wheelers in Tampa:
The guy in that black Honda car who stays even with my driver door with his passenger side window down, pacing every maneuver I make while staring at me and putting the hand not on the steering wheel to use while his pants are around his ankles. I have no choice but to look in that direction occasionally because I have to know what traffic is doing around me. Then he has the audacity to get upset when I flip a burning cigarette butt in his window.

Lonesome, 10speed, just lil me and 2 others Thank this.

Next time use a flare gun. :biggrin_2559:

What really pisses me off is when I see a couple vehicles coming down the entrance ramp so I get over to the left to let them in. They get on and the second car comes right out in my lane right in front of me so I end up standing on the brakes anyway. Re-tards.
