I have read some of the other blogs that are posted. I have worked at the company for many years and have not had those experiences. In my years of driving I have worked at other places that do not compare with Kreilkamp. The equipment and maintenance is far better than all other places I have been. The loads for the most part are generally good. Every so often I get a load that keeps me out, but for the most part I am home when I need to be. The safety is tough, but do I want to work for a company without rules? probably not! My miles are good and my pay is good. I am very happy and I plan to retire with Kreilkamp.

Top notch equipment also. As far as I've seen.

I can see one guy must be in deep with the family and one guy doesn't work for them that long. This company is cruel and are cut throats. I have seen them make drivers run illegal than report them to their own safety dept back in Allenton when they get back !

Zaza, I truly believe that you have never worked for Kreilkamp. In all my years there I was never dispatched on an illegal run nor have I ever heard of it being done. Shame on you for spreading posting such a statement. Besides we have been on electronic logs for sometime now. If you would have done your homework instead of just posting imaginary thoughts you would know that they do not run us illegal.

One Eye...shame on you! I was a supervisor there ! Don't tell me you don't believe I never worked there! I was to confirm with TK late at night to advise what they wanted loaded on trailers and advised that it was either overweight or mixed non compatible hazards or that the driver was plain out of hrs and was told that if the driver didn't run he was fired...done!

Well things can't be too great there--over the years I have met many of there drivers more o/o than company--all the older o/o' I knew there are gone and I see a totally different attitude there(including a serious decline in equipment) it's a shame--but it seems like another once proud company goes down hill as it is passed off to the next generation!
Just my $.02 -
Zaza, if you were a supervisor reporting to TK at night that would have been in the LTL days, that was 10 years ago. Did you fired? I can really sense the anger in your post that tells me you were let go. I could not blame them for firing you if that is the attitude you brought to the workplace.

<G> this sounds like it must be one of the Kreilkamp family trying to defend the tarnished company...to set the record straight I left for another company that actually paid decent. I got sick of the two guys i was reporting to that made remarks about young children all day long. One is now gone but the other is still there.
-
Wrong again...I left there for a real job. -
I agree and I'll tell you why:It's been my experience, that only a non-trucker would phrase that sentance in that manner. Sounds EXACTALLY like an ad or recruiter.
Just my observations.
