just an fyi even though i had a medical card dated a week before i went to orientation and everybody else had valid medical cards. they made all of us get a dot physical with thier doctor. the reason they gave us was that "all dot physicals are not created equal". if i was you i would save my money and just wait till you get to pheonix for your physical

 

That will be fine, same thing they had me do and it was ok.

 

There were a few in orientation that already has theirs done when I was there also. They didn't have to do another one.

 

First day was sitting around..alot...Physicals, drug screens, some road tests, the other 2 days, videos more road tests, more presentations, log training, etc. Then you will have 2 day extra days of flatbed training.

 

Didnt have anyone that did a pre drug test, everyone had to do one of those. Third day is more videos, comdata card issue, paperwork, driver code and in my orientation bus tickets home to wait. The Jake Brake cafe had good food I thought. The first day they buy you lunch "Arbys" then the other days they gave us $5 tokens towards lunch in the Jake Brake Cafe, so a burger cost out of my pocket like 85 cents.
