Sorry about that.......I have a few bucks put aside and a good business sense--- The truck just happen to fall in my lap... SO I just gonna run with it. I'm not looking to maximze profit but instead capture market share. Reason I said load board is because it can put me direct contact with the shipper. Boards that dont include brokers. Bulid relationships, provide customer service. Not only sale transportation solutions but service.
Website that the both the shipper and end user can track the trailer with a sense and track device- Hourly reports sent to the shippers email on the trucks progress. Minamizing dead head miles, a regular maint program for the truck- Fuel card program that saves me 30 cents per gallon, routing software-
While the driver drives I will be setting up the next load-- calculating my CPM for the run. Always keep an eye on my Breaking point.
If I do all that will I atleast have a chance -
actually they had a show called The Apprentice where they did just that...lol
I hear you---the thing is I don't drive---revoked DL.......
Should I lease the truck to a carrier??? -
I wonder how much does this waste of bandwidth cost?
walleye Thanks this.
