We always bought oilfield trucks with factory Installed On/Off ABS switch right on the dash.

There's an option that disables TC completely when you push the button but they don't want to give that to everybody, only to some logging and milk collection trucks that drive on very bad roads in winter.

They consider a half of drivers are not skilled enought. And I agree...

In Finland everyone is skilled enough to drive in winter. And like I said, TC is too slow to take control in real situations, bad driver will still jackknife his vehicle.

on newer EBS Gen3, ABS-E ASR is faster then on previous generations.

I tried to drift on ice 06 Century with ABS/ASR (E-verison, SAE, of course made in Poland LOL) and with disabled ABS. Yeah, I can make truck skid with ABS but anyway less risk, ASR helps.

Bobtaling Mercedes Actros is less stabil. Heavy made of steel cabine, light rear end... with disabled EBS bobtailing actros is VERY dangerouse
