Trucker claims he was fired for refusing to break downtime laws

That's what I gathered from the story.

 

"I am gonna be totally honest with you". A truckers favorite start to a fairytale.

 

NO NO NO, it's " Ya'll ain't gonna believe this sheet" !

 

and there i was--down a going down a 75% grade on ice--in a blizzard hauling 1.5 million lbs

 

That the best you can do?

 

man when i was in the shop working--you wouldnt believe the stories i heard and the stuff i saw

 

And typical response from another driver would be, Hell that ain't nothing driver, this one time I ...................

 

i could never be the safety guy---can you imagine having too keep a straight face in that job?
after 2 days of the phone calls coming in i would die laughing

 

NAH I get at least 4 hrs sometime as much as 5! YEAH RIGHT I can do it once but pay for it the next day, 6-8 is average for me

 

1.5 million lbs makes it sound to un believeable. You should say 750 tons instead.
