Not much....
-
I figured that. But there has to be a legal difference. Since they have both listed as a traffic offense.
-
I don't know....I've never had to find out.
-
The reason why I'm asking is because I went to GA Driver's Services today to get a copy on my MVR...
In the past 7 years I have had 3 tickets.
10/23/09 Failure to obey traffic sign in California. (officer was nice, should have been a left lane violation). Commercial Vehicle YES
7/02/07 Improper lane or location in Indiana (left lane violation) Commercial Vehicle NO.... But it actually was!
2/10/06 Careless Driving in Mississippi (this was the mishap with that MS Trooper who was in my blind spot... I originally thought it was a reckless) Commecial Vehicle YES -
Careless is just that, without due care. Reckless is knowingly driving in a reckless manner. The difference is in the intent.
-
Interesting? Maybe you should have asked the BMV when you got the report? I'd think that careless is not quite as bad as reckless but what do i know.
-
Nothing!
According to REDD.
outerspacehillbilly and REDD Thank this. -
I stood in line for over 2 hours with a hundred other people in a room no larger then a flying j tv room.... The place was starting to stink & I was ready to get the hell out of there! I didn't hang around to ask questions. I was on a quest for fresh air!!!Injun Thanks this. -
Yes, reckless is worse than careless. So you got the lesser charge if I'm reading this right.
