I HATE Subway

I can't stand the smell - And if you say "Just give me a _____ sandwich and please don't ask me any questions, I promise I won't complain" the next thing they say is "Do you want lettuce?' "What kind of cheese?" "White or rye", etc. etc. BTW, the "breakfast" is not real eggs. Took me about ten minutes to get that out of them . . .

haha subway does suck.

 

subway aka breadway is just terrable. cheaper then arby's. i could not find there dollar menu. taco bell, not bad but HIGHLY over priced. just like pizza huts. churchs are expensive and so is popeyes. the best fast food place i found AT a truck stop was a del taco at the now loves/ former pilot, santa nella. otherwise if there is a fast food place near the truck stop, take the time and go over there. i went to the taco bell next to the pilot at lost hills and guess what, they had stuff for 99 cents. wow. i did not have to eat windys again.

 

Yeah I was told at a T/S McDonalds when I asked why they don't have a dollar menu, "It's a truck stop, what do you expect?"

Best truck stop fast food I had was Taco Bueno (I think?) in Iowa. That truck stop also had some kind of 50s style hamburger chain, not Steak n Shake but similar.

Also had a Love's in NC that was next door to a KFC. I'm sure a few of us parked there for our 10 walked over for dinner.

Oh and the Jack in the Box in East St. Louis next to a Pilot. About as bad as the other burger chains but they had a dollar menu!

 

I HATE Subway, except for the cookies. We have Jimmy John's around here and they put Subway to shame if you ask me. I never get tired of McDonalds or Krystal/White Castle, I don't know why.

 

When subway is the only option, which is often the case, i get the flatbread, makes it just a little more tolerable, just a tip.

 

My God. Haven't you people learned to bring a cooler with fruit and veggies? Why waste money at ANY fast food joint or greasy spoon. You never know what you'll get if you're not the one handling the food.

 

I think Subway is at the bottom. Then there is Blimpies. I think Quiznos is just a bit ahead of Blimpies.

And at the top would be something like Jimmy Johns. I guess many Jimmy Johns do delivery I've wondered if I could find one near a truck stop and deliver me a good sammich.
