A couple days ago I had just parked at a truckstop in Sturtevant, Wi. When the sky suddenly went really dark and the rain came down really hard...my truck felt like it was being bounced around like a toy...thank goodness there was 40,000 in the box. To make a long story short I watched this truck get lifted in the air and then blown over...didn't know if I should get out and run or sit still. Before I could decide it was over. It was a Swift O\O

That had to be scary. It could have been a tornado I suppose, but it could have been straight-line winds as well. Straight-line winds ripped the roof off of my mom's house about 8 years ago, and slung it in the field out back.

When those storms were headed our way last week I heard on more than one weather report that there had indeed been tornadoes in WI earlier. Only way to know for sure would be I suppose to check with the weather service for that area...either way glad no one was hurt, and in line winds have a lot of PUNCH been there done that back in 98

could have been a micro-burst. But if you're caught in that, and you see a frickin semi truck get blown over, you really want to be caught outside in that crap? forget getting wet.....that'll be the least of your concerns when a 2x4 goes whizzing past your head, and you're running for the building.

If it was Monday night, there were tornadoes in the area.

I live in northern IL and was on home time. There were several tornadoes that hit the Loves Park area.
