Nothing wrong with a set of pipes. Have a set on my truck with all led's in factory locations. Not overdone at all just right in my book and cost wasnt something I sweated it wasnt very much. I've also spent a lot of time and money tweaking and upgrading my engine's performance. Trucking is not a lifestyle it's my chosen profession and I enjoy it. My KW puts food on the table and pays the bills and is just as much fun to drive as my other toy the hopped up smarty tuned diesel Ram. Dont owe a dime on any possession or piece of property I have thanks to trucking. If your truck is just a tool thats ok mine is more than that to me because I wouldnt do anything else. To each his own.

 

i think if you got some nice chrome or alloy wheels, got rid of that ugly flatbed and got an all diamond plate flatbed, put a custom billet grill on the front, maybe get it painted a nice sparkly green, get some custom made mirrors with twisted iron for the mounts (like on orange county choppers and obviously have them chromed) you could have yourself a real money maker.

 

I hear this guy Hiram is really good at working with all those shiny metals. You know where I can find him ?

 

i just had to respond to your comments -------- i guess you dont know many people with custom trucks ----- how do you think we got them --not by cutting rates .

 

Maybe your idea of good rates and my idea of good rates are not the same.

I know of one scumbag who stole some of my Amtrak work in The Bronx with a phony union book and a fancy ### POS KW. He thought he was getting a good rate. But he didn't know NYC and the cost of doing business.

Couple of calls and he was out of there.

I'm sure he thought it was good money, but it wasn't railroad night work in NYC union jobsite money. Not even close.
