could it be that some trucking companies are worried that they are going to loose business once their customers see how badly they run their business,
my crystal ball shows a lot of unsafe trucking companies going out of business and rates finally starting to rise.zentrucking Thanks this. -
well the only aspect of it that would make me agree with them is that under this new system, ANYTHING that is put on an inspection report is noted in the system as if you are guilty, without trial or recourse. That is UN-American in the biggest way.
But if they are worried about their stats from their own negligence, or as a result of how they treat their drivers and equipment, they made their bed...... -
If this information gets out Ill have to find a new job.

Ha! This is great !! I can tell you in the chemical world, the people you haul for ( like Shell, Exxon etc. ) pull whatever data they can get on you from any source and give you a rating of A,B,C,D on a scale standardized by them.
Your rating is based on your equipment ( as presented ) time late in x period , accident rate and incident rate etc from the gathered data. It's a no brainier that certain groups don't want their data out there. It will cost them business.
Remember, a lot of folks ( companies ) use the ISO standard and many other strive to get the certification..... because ISO rated folks do business with other ISO folks.
This is good ,really ! They can sue all they want but the time to flush the commode has long past.
I'll see ya boys.......happy trails.
