Well, I have my preference. I like the purified water in a bottle.

MY tap water tastes/smells a little strong on the Chlorine, which is a taste I never got used to.

I have good tapwater here at home, but for convenience (as part of the cutting out sodas in my diet) I have been using cheap bottled water from Walmart or Meijers. And, I have bought some of the flavored waters, commonly known as "Fou-Fou water" and have them in the truck. I could save bottles and rebottle here at home, but it's a hassle and water is still pretty cheap.

Go to your favorite shopping center or hardware store and buy a PUR set up that goes on the end of your spigot. They use a changeable filter. They are designed to filter out taste. We have one that works well here. We have a well that as long as you use it regular it has no taste, but if the water sits for a while then we get a natural gas taste. The PUR set up filters all of that right out.

In the truck I was buying Wal Mart bottle water by the gallon. Drink most of a gallon a day.

Chlorine is in the water to kill organisms. You are an organism. One dose may not do much harm, but years of exposure will weaken your immune system allowing other things to successfully attack you.

Fluoride used to be a hazardous waste by-product of the aluminum industry. Now it is sold to municipalities to dump in the water supply.

    I ain't drinking it.

I refill bottles to take with me out of the well. Best water you will ever taste.

Comes out of a 465ft well through solid Kentucky Bluestone.

I prefer "Spring" water over "purified" water. Someone told me once that purified water is not good for some odd reason...........

Our local gorcery chain has a flavored water with carbonation, which I have been stocking in the truck to replace my former soda consumption. Not bad, they are caffeine free, sugar free, no calories, and show no calories. And most importantly, they have no calories, and are calorie free.

Okay, I might be obsessing a bit about the diet......
