I have not updated or hooked to my computer at all since you sent that map card.

WHY!? -
thanks
Mark -
it sends me miles out of the way to a truckstop right off the exit all the time. must have some issue with the exit or road. sometimes it makes no sense though, like it doesnt see an entrance. it will have me pass the pilot,go a mile, do a u turn, then go back right where i was and turn in. maybe doesnt want you to cross traffic. either way im such a rebel i just pull in the driveway, ignoring my gps lol

On another subject, the TND attempted to route me to the old border crossing at Ferry Point in Calais, ME which is no longer accepting commercial vehicles. The new bypass and commercial vehicle border crossing south of town has been open since 2009. The reason it attempted to do this is that the entire bypass is MISSING from the map! Following the TND could have resulted in some serious fines. These are the things that are starting to make me lose faith in this product. If Google can get it right, there is no reason that Rand can't.Mark Kling Thanks this. -
The key to successful use of the TND is to review the route in advance and not just blindly follow it's directions. I think that is true of any GPS system. -
i just tried to update my 700, it says no drivers, then wouldnt do anything, now i cant even shut it off, just says connected on the gps, even with no cable in it,if i push the reset button will it mess anything up? lose my updates or my history or anything?

Thanks,
