Hmmm, maybe you shouldnt have "glided" over on a dirt road and maybe youd still have your class B and your job.
Im glad Im not as cold hearted as some on here. As I said in my post, "awwwww Im going to hate running them over", but if thats what it takes so be it. I didnt say I would swerve or "glide" over. You dont have to be cold about it.
When I lived in VA there was a law if you run over a domestic or farm animal (cat, dog, sheep, cow, etc) you were supposed to stop and try to find out who it belonged to to notify them. Didnt happen much unless it was a farm animal.
Besides, I have bigger fears then running an animal over.

I had to that the road i was on casue a customer was located just a few houses up. I was not traveling fast. there was soft spot in the road as it was spring and the thaw was happening.

I didnt mean to sound so cold about it. All I was trying to say is its better to control and take out the dog than ruin 120,000 truck plus god knows how much in medical and product.

I now dont have the awww feeling .. I have a move move move.. ####.. not much you can do about it. If it happens to you.. You will understand

I think everybody knows about the hookers, the only thing is growing up in the ghetto, somebody forgot to give us a book on Trucker Slang 101 cause truckers are the only ones who refer to them as Lot Lizards. With that being said there's nothing to forgive, the only thing is some of the attitudes on this forum and all others from some people who think they wrote the book on everything and anything. I mean really, knowing trucker slang is really something to poke your chest out about? If it is, someone has some really deep issues about themselves.
