i have a few questions about that such as what constitutes as auxillary equipment? fridge/tv/laptop or something absoloutly needed for the truck also "comply with passenger comfort laws" and "hours of service compliance" all of these are under exemptions and whats with the jail time for letting a truck idle? some of the fines are nutso too like fines up to 22,500$ on a second offense i guess what it really comes down to is if were at a truckstop in any of these 22 states can you run the truck to stay warm/cool or even at a rest stop or side of a on/off ramp cause these laws look bogus as h### to me and how many people have actually been fined/thrown in jail for idleing?
