Where can I find an upper bunk?

Truck salvage yard....

 

Same situation with me. Sadly only one salvage yard in my area and the operator is a real piece of work.
He does sell entire sleepers from time to time for around $700 cash and carry. I know you can also buy parts as needed from KW - if it ever came down to that...

 

Yea, except they never responded to my multiple emails and voicemails were not returned. In their defense, I never got around to trying to speak to someone LIVE on the phone... - seems like a nice place. Perhaps if you go in person that is...

 

I would just e-mail or call one of the large truck salvage company's you see on the web.
Most of the sleepers you see for sale are stripped. They probably do this at the salvage yard and sell the metal frames for scrap.
I cannot find them for sale used either, so they are all going somewhere. And if you call and talk to them I am sure they could find you one.
Even if it needs to be cleaned up and the metal parts painted, it would still be cheaper than new.

I have always had luck with them for small truck/car parts,...And they also have heavy truck stuff,.....I have been by their Downing yard and there are plenty of big trucks sitting,.....Might get lucky,...

 

i have a upper bunk for a 72 in and a 86 in areocab i want $250 for whatever one you want.
