Our trucks have to be under 65', and it takes a 45' trailer to haul 6 cubes of hay. To have a hood we would have to have a tiny coffin sleeper. Hoods are ornamental, space inside is not. My Columbia has a 70" midrise sleeper and has all the room in the world. Truck also must turn sharp to get in some of these dairys over on the coast, not happenning with a long hood. And not all plastic trucks are 60mph wonders. Mine is a C15 , 13spd, 3.42 rears, and no limiters.

KW t-600's do have a loyal following though, 8 out of 10 ######## can't be wrong.:biggrin_25523: That tiny little cab is what they call "cave cozy".

Whats up with that length restriction?

None of the millions of out of state road tractors/trailers are forced to conform to that
    to travel thru OR.

Not so much Oregon, 90% of our loads go down 199 to Crescent City, CA, then on down 101 south of Eureka, CA. Then we haul redwood lumber back over 299 to Redding, CA. Those roads are resticted.

Youll be happy to know I stopped and looked at a couple of T600's the other day, I know those are your babies.

Oh, and Im also looking at the Cascadias. They remind me of a pimped out Cadillac from the hood. I freaking love them LOL:biggrin_25525:

I purchased the Volvo because the money was right, I actually really like the truck. But yeah, ultimately some day when I can afford it Ill end up with something that chrome actually belongs on
