Perhaps a little more time in the industry before attempting tongue-in-cheek humor might be in order. Tongue-in-cheek only works when based on facts.

So we're going to do the "swift has so many accidents on youtube and the net" again?

Go to google images and enter " 18 wheeler accidents" and what you'll find is hundreds upon hundreds of accidents and very few of them are swift.

Google swift accidents and all you'll find is Swift. You're going to find what you look for.

Now of course we all realize that the lovely union supporters who have found their way to this thread don't really care about statistics unless its something they or their union boss has come up with. National safety statistics doesn't matter to them. Swift isn't a union company and therefore they hate it.

Big deal. Who cares? I certainly don't care what Morella, ambivilance, slim1, or dingy thinks. If and when the day comes when they can demonstrate something that causes me to respect them or have confidence in their opinions then it might just matter. That day hasn't come.

Yes, Jim, just as you received my fist-in-face reaction to calling me a troll. Are you always so polite to new users? I have thick skin, though, and I'm a pretty nice person, so I am willing to let this go and attempt to establish a friendlier conversation.

Would you share your wisdom and experience with me, Jim? How long does one have to drive for Swift before being eligible to be an owner-op?

Aw c'mon, please don't leave. You're one of the nicer people here, and, I actually agree with you on this point. Since Swift is so big, it is easy to find evidence of stupidity within the company, on or off of the road.

I think you're actually focusing a little tight on this one. The challenge was to come up with 10 photos for every stupid Swift incident, and I, for one, would have enjoyed seeing all 110 photos, had they manifested themselves, just for entertainment value. It wouldn't have been any reflection on Swift one way or the other, to anyone who has half a brain.
