From idea to actuality!

Hehe, I wish I had as much faith in myself and karma as you do.

I think I will be a lot less worried once I get a yes or no on the pre-hire. I know a pre-hire is by no means a guarantee, but atleast from the pre-hire forward everything is within my control to work on, can't change the past though.

Yeah, I know, just very anxious and excited!!

 

Well today's been a long day with nothing real exciting happening. We delivered a load at a prison in Indiana and picked up a new load headed to Texas.

I have been reading ORG's thread http://www.thetruckersreport.com/tr...rivers/112266-help-a-trucker-wannabe-out.html which I highly recommend to any newbies considering trucking as a career/lifestyle. I am on page 51 now but it's time for me to get some sleep.

Hopefully tomorrow will bring some good news from CWTL!!

Edit: Finished the last 12 pages, GREAT read! Still no word from Con-Way as of now (2:15 PM CST).

 

She did interviews for all the people for my class date that day and they day before (about 10 people total I believe) and had to get our all stuff checked so I wanted to give her a little time.

I am going to call tomorrow after lunch if I don't hear from her before that.

I have mixed feeling about that popular saying. I believe that sometimes a slightly squeaky wheel gets greased. I also believe that if a wheel is too squeaky, and you have a bunch of other wheels, a very squeaky wheel may just get replaced. (Hope that makes sense)

Thanks!! I can't wait to have adventures to write about! LOL. I will definitely take pictures, I already have a few from my time as a passenger and have my digital camera pretty handy most of the time.
