21 kids hurt when rig hits mayor-driven school bus

I've seen those DCS guys flying around Chicago...I've also noticed that a few of them ARE NOT governed as low as normal JB's

 

I'd have to agree with you on that it was either texting while driving, just
plain not paying attention, picking up something off the floor, or something
of that sort.

The reason I say that is because where it happen at the road is a 4 lane at 65 mph, 2 lanes each direction of travel with turnarounds every so often. Also the road
is straight as an arrow at that point and it was a clear beautiful morning.

 

The worst thing you can hit. Them poor kids will be scarred for life. I hope the three critical pull through.

How in the heck do you hit a bright yellow school bus with lights flashing? On a straight stretch of road and clear weather too.

You're right nik, there is no excuse for this. I hope that driver gets the max coming to him.

 

Like I said earlier there is NO excuse for this.....I know you ain't making none for him either.

They just reported on the news that one of the kids who was critically injured had to
be placed in a medical coma.

The kid is in Kindergarden, I don't know how old you are then but man thats young
to go thru all that trauma.

This is one of my greatest fears for anyone to have to go through ... when I was going though the pictures I was like oh my goodness and thinking of my own child who is 8 and rides a bus ... no excuse for the accident ... not when the the bus had done everything it needed to do at a stop ... and if the truck driver was texting and driving oooooOOOOoooo it just gets my goose when I see drivers texting and driving!

 

Oh my goodness ... my prayers are with him/her and their family
