would i be in trouble if i went in the service area and just started working on my own truck?
I have no problem having others do the work, but if their being ##*h0les and taking my time, then I'll just do it myself.
Maintenance- is it always this slow?

I have a 07 columbia and it runs like a champ. Just would wish id get the miles, they seemed to drop off the past 3 weeks.

I don't know what your personal experience was, but I can assure you Rick is not on a yacht and he's probably working more hours per week than you are. Everyone always says "it's not like it was when the old man was running it" but seriously look at any company and you'll find someone making those comments. Trucking isn't the same as it was 5 years ago, why would you expect the companies to be the same as they were 5 years ago? If you don't adapt to change your business will probably fail. Like it or not companies are changing, no company is perfect you just have to pick one that you can live and go from there.

PS, get your maintenance done at Iron Mountain.

made it to kaukauna for maintenance today. i like this place. got a whole list of stuff done for me that i have been waiting on. couldnt get in to a shop until my apu died, but they resealed my roof, fixed the apu,new tires, alignment, several other things, took 5 or 6 hours, but i spent 3.5 days in gary last time i was in the shop..

I think gary has more work than they can handle, the new trk wash will be nice, but I think more maint bays and techs would have been a better investment. As trucking companys are trying to get the most out of thier equipment, maintinance is going to be the key to keeping equipment running longer and driver down time to a minimum.
They expanded the shop at ellenwood, and I heard there is a change going on in Kaukauna ? Has anyone been to kaukauna lately ?
