thinking about jumping ship

I am actually catching a bus today. Have to be there Sunday for driving test.then start paperwork and crap

As always grey hound bus sucked took 14 hrs to get here and arrived at our hotel at 5am and had to catch the shuttle at 830am for the road test. But lots more organized than weren't or wse

so far everything is good, really liking their paperless logs or E-logs as they refer to it it is much better then werners setup, orientation is insane with weird stuff i never seen, like the extensive DOT physical that pretty much sent half of orientation students home. lots of learning company policies and stuff before even getting hired. really hope to get a 780 VOLVO but verry few left, I see lots of them siiting in the yard with out US XPress decals on them and rummor has it they are getting rid of them. and mainly sticking with peterbuilts and freights. but we will see what hapens tomorrow

 

the volvos wiithout decals are the ones they recently pulled from the fleet and are trading in, i hope u have a better experience with us xpress than i have had, they let me go just few days ago while i was on work comp.

 

What are they looking for in the DOT physical and how come they sent half of them home? I'am talking to them right now about going to work for them.

 

I am thinking about going with US xpress after leaving Werner.....what sent half of the orientation home.... what kind of extensive physical??

 

probably referring to their stress test thing they do. Duck walk gets a lot of people from what I've read.

 

Are most (all) of their pick ups and deliveries done during daytime hours?
