I'm the one with an accent...I was borne in Europe and I live 22 years in Canada. 4 years ago I've lost my job ( 15 years in tool and die )... Since then I got my CDL and in about 3 years made trough most provinces of Canada and 32 states of US. I love driving even though it doesn't pay anymore as it use to and trucking is not really a trucking anymore as well. Sometime I think about it as rat race. Driving Volvo... I'm getting close to 500000 km on the road. Glad to be here...

Welcome. It is like a rat race. With CSA2010 coming and it's changes, most of the rats will jump ship like always and go back to Burger King and McDonalds.

Hi.. Well that's what I'm told on CB... Sometime it goes on my nerves because I speak English 22 years and I know I have it but who doesn't ? Everyone of us have some kind of accent - we just don''t hear our own... And in most cases the people who bring it up are mostly just "born buggers" whose the only intention is to interrupt the conversation...
