Christmas holiday planning are some of the most dreaded in trucking for OTR drivers.
I would guess that the majority of drivers (and trainees) get home for the holiday. But you as a trainee will be at the mercy of your trainer, and the company.
You may work, you may be off a week. That question would best be answered by the company you are applying at. Preventing any panic attacks brought on by members of this board. -
thanks danc I really appreciate it well I hope you get home for thanksgiving happy holidays. I'm still trying to decide what company I'm going too TMC or US xpress and I have to have a decision in an hour lol. Wish me luck

You'll make more money. And get a hell of a lot more respect from them as employers. -
Thank you I am leaning towards TMC.

I have a buddy with TMC he likes it.
He said they will get him home for christmas.
As for students, I am not sure.. -
Most likely your trainer will want to be home for Christmas, so if you live close to him, you will be also. Thanksgiving depends on the load.

You will get home the ? Is did he run thanksgiving to xmaa if he did he can take the week off from xmas to new years but if he didn't he will be working that week tmc has never failed at getting its drivers home for xmas that I know of
