Don't the 4-way flashers use the brake lights?
You should only have to turn on the 4-ways, then get out and check.
Any expert backers out there

Funny, my husband wiggles all over, pulls forward, wiggles some more, etc...Unless he's blind-backing with an over-size - then it's a one-shot deal. His sister also nails the narrow, blind-back spots. Must be the genes.

I watched a guy blind-back into a spot in big cabin, ok, with 3 inches on both sides, while talking on the phone. One shot parking, slowed down enough to reverse. I wanted to give the guy an ovation, but I was afraid of disturbing his call.

Backing a set of joints can get you in and out of tight spots but you have to be good or you can get tied up into a pretzel. I have been driving a transfer for 15 years now and still amuse myself at the places I can put my truck and trailer.

Like today, when I had to turn around on a levy, instead of backing 1/4 mile. I had been dumping there all day, but on my 4th run there was a crane staged on my haul road. So I disconnected, dumps both boxes, and this is how I turned around:

Sometimes, when backing up you wish there was an audience. Other times you wish there wasn't!

But other times when I pull in exhausted and just ready for bed, it seems like 20 trucks line up behind me while I struggle to put it in an easy hole. Just seems to take longer when you have someone waiting on you to get out of the way and you blow the set up and have to pull forward 10 times to get it in. -

I can back up a 100 pivot point load... ohh wait I was 5 and that was a train set
Wargames Thanks this.
