I have never worked for them, I have talked to ALLOT of there broke and divorced drivers.
People that go to CRE loose everything they own.
They will not let you solo, and they are very much against you driving a company truck.
They will make you sit for weeks at the terminal waiting for a truck while your bills pile up.
Then eventually you will sign a lease just so that you are on the road and trying to make some money.

If you look around you will find several threads that are about CRE that are obviously done by company recruiters and not by drivers. The drivers that posted that I actually watched as they posted all left over time. They were scared to post about the company while with them because they did not want to get fired.

i was reading a news article about the word *FIRED*.
only in america does that word hold true. the rest of the world gives 2 weeks to 3 months notice. depending on the country. they also pay severance pay before you collect unemployment. unemployment pay is 70 - 90 % of your pay. and can last 18 months up to 48 months. depending on the country.

america may be the freedom and holy land. but when your F'ed, your F'ed.

and on another note. here's some holiday cheers to help brigten your day. (or nights). 2007 vids are of the house and kooler then his 2008 vids of the yard.

There you go CD, learning from other people's experiences without firsthand knowledge. Go figure, you can discern reality from the ether just based on real life humans that communicate exactly the pitfalls that lay ahead and avoid the waterfall. Good Job. Sincerely. For people that receive road warnings and still ride on, there is little hope. I believe firmly that you CAN learn by others' mistakes, (yes with a portion of salt that is appropriate). I was the youngest of 4 boys. I certainly learned from them, as well as my father, my mom and all my family and friends. You can learn from strangers, but verify.

Have not viewed your VIDs, but wonder where you read this "Fired" article. What countries offer such lucrative bennies as far as separation? Just curious. Not what we lovingly refer to as: At will employee.

In Australia it is almost impossible to fire someone, if you do fire them you had better have a #### good reason or your Butt will be in Court.

Unemployment in Australia last's until you find another job, even if you are fired with for a good reason!:biggrin_25511:

On a totally different topic....How is that white stuff 1BAD???????:biggrin_2559: Karma biting huh!

Well, I was home for the weekend, now I have to drive in the snow.
We got close to a foot last night. Blowing and drifting everywhere.
They plowed this lot though, and I have a snow pile by my bumper higher than my hood.
Now I have to run empty across I-86 to erie, and it is not looking good. All the schools in that area closed. Which is not common around this area.
Then I am running a short load to a grocery warehouse down in York PA. So I will be hitting some more on I-80 around Snowshoe it looks like on the map. That will be worse than 86, they do not clean that as well and it is hilly.
Major place for the interstate to get shut down.
But clear again after that area.
Good old lake effect is taking over the Northern parts of the Eastern half of the US though.
