What? A trucker "lie" about how much money they make? Say it isn't so.

first of all if you were standing in front of me you would probably think twice about calling me a liar. now let me say in year 2009 i trained as a company driver. my gross income was a little over 70,000. my net was 52,000. as a COMPANY driver. my friend on the lease program trains, goes home less than 14 days per year (before you hide behind your keyboard shouting liar remember my friend has no home,no bills other than truck expenses, no other vehicle--he rents a car when needed.) you should also know he was a c.p.a. before he began trucking. he has been on dedicated runs more than two years and continually runs 5 to 7000 miles per week. now when he puts all money in bank other than living expenses maybe you can see how he socked away 100 grand in a little over three years. now even a person who knows math for dummies can add that up

I've no doubt that someone with a head for business, that is frugal and operates their business sensibly can easily sock away the kind of money that pythontrucker talks of here.
There aren't many "good businessmen" in trucking, but those that operate accordingly can suceed and do just fine.

He is a trainer so he basically runs team rather than train as one should with new drivers. Trainers should be sitting in the passenger seat watching and ensuring that the new driver is doing things properly. Not sleeping in the bunk.

    Okay ... so what?

First of all, this is heresay - not your own experience, so expect to be called out on it.

And why don't you post this in the FFE threads? What does any of that have to do with JBH lease?

To bad you have become a PAWN to promote the JB Hunt lease scam. Somebody has to complete the lease as 1000's have failed...I mean hey someone has to go to truck shows and promote JB Hunt. Too bad as Bobby Buffay was a funny character to get away from the serious truck stuff everyday.
