I found this doing a web search..not sure if it will help:
DAC stands for Drive-A-Check. A DAC report is a file that includes truck drivers' employment history. Information such as previous employers, reason for leaving previous jobs, job-related accidents and other information is included in a DAC report. It is important for truck drivers to check their DAC report periodically, and they are allowed one free copy per year. Additional copies are $9.50.
Make copies of your Social Security card and driver's license.
Send a request to the U.S. Investigation Services (USIS) asking for a copy of your DAC report. Include the copies you made in Step 1.
USIS Commercial Services Division
Attn: Consumers Department
P.O. Box 33181
Tulsa, OK 74153
Your DAC report should arrive in 10 days to two weeks.

He was looking for his PSP score from the FMCSA, it is not the same as DAC,
PSP is all the inspection info from roadside on the driver.
It is available to company's the driver is employed with, and thru the PSP or Pre-employment Screen.
The PSP is available from the FMCSA by paying 10 bucks to the 3rd party company that they contracted with to manage the system. Or you can get it from the FMCSA by using a freedom of information act request.
This program is being run the same as a credit reporting company or DAC for that matter. So you can get 1 free one per year.
But I heard the other day that someone had requested theirs in Feb, and still have not gotten it.
So the FMCSA is not really all that interested in following the law and getting the free one to you.
The link to the free one is on the FMCSA site as well. But you may have to wait a year to get it. -
Try this site hireright dot com
(they won't let me post a hyperlink yet)
or I think this phone number (800) 400-2761
(my phone battery is dead or I'd look up the #)
This is the old USIS and you can get a free DAC report every year. Mine took about a week to come in the mail. -
What amazes me is they have billboards up for drivers stating, know your point score, but then nothing about how to get it.
-
is it really that surprising?
-
What if you made a photocpoy of every inspection you get and kept it in a file. That would show you every violation.
-
I have a copy of all of my inspections in the registration book and give it to the officer when I get inspected. -
$9.50? I haven't been charged with a fee for ordering a copy of my DAC twice in the same year. I filed for mine online through their website.
-
Well, I don't need a copy of my CSA score yet. I've only been involved in one accident sense it was started where I was backed into and no inspections sense the program started. I'm either lucky or keep on top of my game and pitch a ##### to my employer about something that need's fixin' and refuse to move until it is fixed. They can't fire you for being safe.
