How do other single, live-alone guys manage to pay your bills on time when you're on the road for weeks on end, with no guarantee of being home regularly to receive bills, much less pay them on time? This is a real concern of mine.

I assume you have the regular bill's most people have; electric, water, gas, phone, cable....etc, etc Most bill's nowadays (is that even a word?) can be paid on-line. Do you have a labtop? If you do than that will be helpful. At worst you can get a calender, right down all your bills on said calendar and send a check a few days before the bill is due. Keep a copy of all the phone numbers so you can call and get a quote of how much said bill is. Some even will let you just pay over the phone with a bank card or credit card. Once you get organized with what you have coming in and what you have going out, write everything down to the point of when it is due, how much it is and such than all will be fine and you will look back and wonder why you were concerned.
Good luck my friend,

Nowadays is a proper word.
Labtop isn't. -
Does it matter?
I am sure you knew what was meant. -
We have most of our bills set on automatic payments. Just need to make sure you have enough in the account when they take it out. Having someone you trust to check the mail for the odd bill is a good thing .
