Well, technically, I was on our dock at least three nights a week. then got dropped into night line haul from the flex board as the other drivers ran out of hours by weeks end. It was still a double set out to Milton, Richmond, or Pittsburg,,, usually.

 

yea, That's the Middleschoolers. Little energetic, over hormoned roustabouts. The Primary's were easy enough, the Highschoolers were rather mature and they worked with me, and I worked with them.

I still think of my time as schoolbus driver as a special club. But it was only partime work, no insurance.
