Do you think that the VP's phone call had anything to do with you posting your then private email to Jubitz on this website for the entire world to see? I do!!!!

Ah, the power of the "internets"! :biggrin_25525:

Here's a "high-five" to you for solving your issue in a professional manner! I learned something else today...I think. Thank you!

No...I don't think it did really, He didn't find out that I had posted it on the forums until I told him on the phone when he called me.
He had no idea what The Truckers Report even was until I showed him today.

    HFC and JimDriv3r Thank this.

I also am a long time patron of jubitz. I don't get in there much anymore but remember Moe having his son going around and making sure everyone was taken care of and the service and food were always excellant.I haven't been in there but a few times after the fire and the remodel as I moved out of state.Glad to hear they still care about their customers.

Blackw900 how much you wanna bet someone from Jubitz will be monitoring this site from now on. I know some trucking companies montior this and other trucking forums. What I don't know is how many T/S operaters do or even know there are trucking forums.

    HFC Thanks this.

It'd be a pretty good bet! He was very interested in the site and the fact that we could communicate with so many other drivers about these types of issues.
I told him that the world has gotten a lot smaller because of the availability of sites such as this and that because of these types of "Cyber Truckers Lounges" that it wasn't just a couple of people complaining on the CB or in the TV room anymore.

    HFC Thanks this.

It's amazing what an e-mail or call to the head offices will do. I sent and e-mail to the district manager for the Jessup MD TA and he called me 2 hours after I sent the e-mail and wanted to do everything possible to make it right for me and said he was working on that location to make it better.

Pretty amazing that a VP took time out of his day to talk to an actual customer.

It's been my experience dealing with higher ups that they couldn't care less about anyone who didn't squat in the executives washroom.

you had said in a previous posting that they contacted you, and you were asked that if it ever happen again, tell them. you went on to say you wouldn't, and you would just never go there again.....

ok, if everyone were to just stop and not complain as you did, no one in the higher food chain of these companies will ever know what lack of service we get. if we all take the time to type up a formal, neat, well spoken email, we will get a proper response, as you did. quality control is lacing in many industries we all know this. i say if this were to ever happen again, keep the lines of communication open and let them know.

many people as we all know all too well, simply want a paycheck each week, but not want to actually earn it. its those very people that NEED to be fired off, so that the ones in the unemployment line can get that job and try harder.

i am very happy for you and your due diligence for pursuing this truck stop. please do not stop letting any one of those places know that with the availability of the internet, a company can be sorely lacking a customer base in the time it takes to hit the "submit"......button.

    HFC Thanks this.

For anyone who wants to know, my wife and I are seeking to do just what you are describing here. The only difference is that a lot of drivers may not know about this forum, but they spend time online looking for information relevant to their lifestyle and job.

Here's how you can start making a difference in your own small way.

At the top of this page, click on my login name "Zincman". That will take you to my profile. Click on the link "About Me" on the left side and look at the "Interests" line.

I can tell you that companies are reading our information, and we think it's making a difference. Plus, other drivers can read what you have to say. Here's your chance to make a difference for ALL drivers and get the travel chains to shape up their act or lose some business. Make your collective voices heard.

    Best regards,

    Mike
