My only proof is this forum set of posts, logged as they happened, I did not take pictures or audio or whatever, he would have blew a gasket if I snapped pics.

but I know what load the quarter sized dent in the driver side tandem wheel that he banged out with a hammer was.

Keep your cell charged. Call your manager in Denver also. Follow their instructions until you know exactly what they are going to do. They will not leave you stranded. I know you are alone out there, but take a deep breath, try to remain calm, keep in contact with Injun and wait for a SWIFT rep to come to you.
When you are calmer in a day or two, let us know what you said to your dipsh*t trainer. I can only imagine his tough guy response.

Well you are ahead as like Injun works for the same company and I'm sure is willing to stand behind you some. You have also documented your feelings through out all of the incidents too which is also a plus. You just have to calmly explain it to them and how it was effecting you. If Swift is a decent company they will stand behind you too for being honest, and wanting to be safe.

I'm sure you could pull time online most of the time. Look at all the drivers on youtube and all that for that matter. You'll do fine.

You don't need audio. If you were doing that, they may question your motives for doing so. I would assume that SWIFT won't give you the grand inquisition. Grab a coffee, etc., sit down, relax, and then go through your posts and write down notes that jog your memory. You have time to do so, while waiting. If I can make a suggestion? When you do speak with a manager, try not to let emotions get the best of you and start insulting Mr Dipsh*t trainer. Just calmly explain to them your version of the facts, and make your points known. Your trainer will have his own version, and I am sure he will try to make you look at fault, but I would expect that SWIFT management are not naive.

What I told my trainer is easy: "I am not sure I can do this, I am going to talk to family and see what is up, and I will talk to driver services in a day or so " I basically got a 'oh I see' and then he told me that last night when I took a 2.5-3 hour break to be on the computer, that he 'knew i am probably not cut out for this' because I dont 'dedicate my whole life to it' and such....

I still put in over 450 miles that day. -grumble- Its not a amazing amount but its enough that its 3,150 miles a week. (Eventually till you run out of hours)

Was that just an excuse so there would not be a confrontation, or are you truly feeling like "you are not sure you can do this (driving)? From what you have stated here, he shouldn't be commenting about your dedication.

I wouldn't throw in the towel yet. I would try a different trainer, and see how it all works out before deciding whether or not driving is for you. The inspiration and direction of a good trainer might be what you really need. They would also be able to possibly help you with time management or provide insight into making time for yourself and the internet as well.

Hell no don't throw in the towel! NO NO NO!!!!
You had a bad trainer, or from what I've been reading a bad co-driver. No, you don't need to dedicate your heart and soul like he says. It's a career, that's for sure and you got to give it all you got (which you've been doing) but you don't have sell your soul to it.
I've read other threads where the trainer was a butt-hat. They got different trainers and life was much improved.
You CAN do this...you know you can.

Injun, Wedge, The Challenger and 3 others Thank this.

I cant help but feel that when im with my trainer he dictates my life, drive as long as im told, drive when im told, etc. I feel I dont have any say, I thought I did but...I have been quite soundly taught that I do not apparently.
