International 9400 way better truck, I had 3 freightliners they are garbage. The International has more living space and is a more solid truck. If they ever put me back on a freightliner I'm leaving

I am in an International right now and it's a good truck...basically....but with no APU or functional cab heater, I am on the list of folks who have received jump starts. There is plenty of room inside, which is nice...and it runs strong with 690k on it.

Good luck... You get whatever truck is available for the fleet you are going into. If you are going to pull flatbed it will probably be a Freightliner, there are only a few Internationals left. If you are going to any of the other fleets, you could get anything except a Peterbuilt.

I'm on my forth freightliner by choice 2 fld120 & 1 C L & C C & NO sensor problems. Great ride, comfort & plenty of room, but i must say is the international is wide with plenty of space, storage & great ride also. I did'nt see a big different in the ride myself, maybe cause both were well maintain. And i did have problems with the international, dash controls & climate funtions. but you can't blame a trucks problems on just the maker, they are used trucks. Both of my fld's had over a million miles & ran great, that's y i'm still running them 2day.The c l i'm driving now has 733k on it.

Yeah...my international has 696k. My only real complaint is it gets nowhere near the mpg that i have gotten from the freightliners. Of course it is an 8 speed so that doesn't help either.
