I agree, the T660 is better. But if they buy them I'll drive it.
-
I doubt if they get the T700 as i've heard they are too heavy and they had the previous model (T600) and doug hated em!!! mechanic told me they were getting more T660 and then they will check out the bids for Pete's or Freightliners.. personally i like the different fleets of trucks, about a month or two ago three of us ran out of westbury , one KW, one Volvo, and my pete and i thought it was real neat how we was blowing by everybody with our light loads on 78 and 81.. just my opinion..
and Matt, make sure the key is turnt back when your cutting on the bunk heater.. i thought mines wasn't working either until the guy in sheldon told me i had to have the key in the accessory mode.. -
Don't know anything about the company but if Freightliner is a consideration that is what you will get. Probably governed at 68 mph for (make up something) reasons.
-
I heard the rumor through my trainer/mentor Roy in truck 700. He is not sure about the move to the T-700's but he does communicate a lot with the Sheldon Terminal.
-
our trucks are already governed at 68....

hey driver in 637, i was the driver thay got that radio put in. im out of ks and now im in 745. been here 2 yrs, and yes like everyboby else here, i really enjoy the company, good loads, bad loads, we just take the good with the bad. good luck down the road and with this darn snow coming in on us now. take care out there see yall down the road.

I'm in 627 NS Wa in Sheldon last week to get bunk heater and Qualcomm fixed, well bunk heater worked 2 days until I got in Va. and Qualcomm still doesn't work. Overall I like the company and I'll agree good loads/bad loads take in all in stride. I will say with the lake effect snows
in full I may be going out west more often. Be safe out there.
-
Wishing you well with them....I see their trucks on the road, shiny side up and dirty side down.
They can't be too bad being located in Sheldon.....keep us posted on how it goes with them.
Are they regional or national? -
right you are with the shiney side up, they try to keep their rigs clean it makes a good impression, they run northeast, rarely NYC and the midwest, sometimes loads going to Wash. state. percentage pay so the miles are not the issue, good company, I have no complaints but not much to campare it to either, waiting for spring!
