    It is up to the driver to protect his or her CDL,.....

    If you are out of hours you are out of hours,......The company can't make you driver over,..........

    It is up to YOU and ONLY YOU to protect yourself and your license at all times. NEVER let any company endanger your ability to earn a living. When will people learn that even the so called "good companies" will give you up in a heartbeat in any accident or incident involving HOS violations. If a company mistreats you because you won't run illegally, then it's time to find another company. All these "double log book-Billy Big Rigger's" come and go, and the only people they are hurting are themselves and the trucking industry as a whole. If a company doesn't care enough to see if you are rested and legal, go elsewhere. Eventually, these bottom feeders will dry up and blow away like the turds that they are.

    Oh, good. The Teamsters zoomed in on it. Maybe here's an other company that goes the way of CF....

    Bye bye! Teamsters did nothing for me when I paid dues! They left my butt out in the cold holding a dispute that had merit.

    Thanks for chiming in boys. My blood runs cold for your cause.

    Sad, weak, picks their fights, not any better than OOIDA.

    I learned to fight for myself.

    Union=waa waa waa!

    Eskimo6804 and Lonesome Thank this.

    Oh good, the anti-union whiners zoomed in on it !! And, did you even work at or know anything about C/F ? I did. And the union didn't have anything to do with CF folding..Waaah..did you expect the IBT to hold your hand ? And how is that standing up for yourself thing working out ? According to your posts, not too well..OOIDA, what a joke..

    Where?
    Ryder Integrated Logistics is a 3PL. They have several accounts around here and not one is union. Supervalu drivers are teamsters. Suprised they didnot organize TLC when Supervalu bought them(or did they try?)

    Ryder systems? I know that there was a Ryder systems years ago that was union. I think they were an LTL company.

    Supervalu sold TLC to Ryder Integrated Logistics , a 3PL and a division of Ryder, the truck rental company. It is possible that they MAY have a few accounts that are union.

    That's the link to Ryders main site.

    Possible that they have some accounts that are union. Could also be there mechanics, washers, fuelers that are union. The drivers for the most part, are not.

    Penske is like that. Shop and fuelers are union but drivers for thier logistic services for the most part are not.

    All in all, Ryder is a good company. Have a few friends that drive for them and never heard anything bad.
