$1000 for the load~you get a $500 advance for fuel so they now owe you $500. You spend $400~they back out $100 you didn't spend~your owed $600 for the load~settlement time you get reimbursed $400~they now owe you $1000 for the load.

 

In reality its not. It takes a lot to get a union in a non-union shop or trucking company.

Don't get me wrong, I really have nothing against the unions with the exception of a few minor things. But for the most part they are good.

 

Heavy Dude my apology, let's hopefully clear up an important point. You have two comdata cards, one is for pay settlements/advances, the second is for fuel only. The monies for fuel are loaded on the fuel card (in the company name). All this crap is an accounting function which there is no need for, but they construct it this way to further the "myth" you are an "independent"

Two cards changes nothing. If your getting an advance for fuel and they are "backing out" what you don't spend and reimbursing what you do~ you are even.

 

Your making no sense. If your reimbursed for the $400 how is it a credit to you~thats a negative to them~reflected as income? A credit isn't income. Got a PDF of your settlements? Or can you scan them? E-mail them? Post them? Its my bed time, see-ya.

I agre 100% unions serve no purpose, take money from workers and do nothing for them except eventually close down the company and send jobs over seas. I am NOT responsible for someone who feels the union is a "good thing" I can ONLY practice what I "preach" and avoid the union.
