6nz from a mbn

    i changed my ecm from a mbn to an 6nz... my question is should i have the injector trim code from the injectors put in on the 6nz ecm???

    Yes to be 100% correct the original trim codes from the MBN should be used in the new ecm...however FarCall will not agree with this by any means but most folks default to 5232 in search of more power....RW

    I am curious as to why you would not use the original MBN trim codes. I had my MBN flashed to a 6NZ, along with the 5232s. The engine ran too rough for my liking, and shortly after, when an injector failed, I had the codes reset to correct #s.

    my truck has always ran very smooth with the mbn and 6nz ecm... someone just mentioned it to me if i change the trim codes when i swapped ecm.. so i thought i would just ask... i will be sending my ecm at the end of the month down to mr. haney.....so he will be able to get everthing set up perfect
