Stevens Transport aviary

Sitting in W.Memphis,got a repower headed to Cincy,Indy,then Kenosha.Hasnt been the best two weeks ive had as of late.Told my manager I need some miles.Ive got a T7 on the truck and spending to much time sitting.I quess im spoiled,I dont know,just in a bad loop right now I quess.Everybody stay warm.

 

There are more than 110 empty trucks in CA right now.
I don't count. I have one skid on board.

My first pick at 0700 this morning won't be ready until 1900 tonight. Got my second pick...the one skid. Sitting at truck stop around corner from the pick. Then down state for the other two first thing tomorrow AM.
If I scoot, I can escape before someone gets the idea I can't make it. (I can).
Sent several QC's yesterday looking for a load. DM this morning said everyone loved mine. Hated most of the others. (I didn't know there were so many of us waiting)
Sent messages like: "Hungry trucker willing to drive anywhere without complaining. Send loads to 9346" another was, "Prima Donna needs load. Will kiss feet and send chocolate."
Guess it's a tough week all over.

 

so should i still sent in app to stevens i really wanted to work for them it fits what i want to do but they didnt like my job history

yEAH I WAS TELLING MY CO=DRIVER THAT FREIGHT MUST BE SLOW RIGHT NOW.I USUALLY DONT HAVE TO CALL DISPATCH FOR A LOAD.HAD TO YESTERDAY.THEY GAVE ME A LITTLE SHORT 600 MILE 2 DROP LOAD,JUST TO KEEP US MOVING,QUESS I SHOULDNT BE COMPLAINING.

Setting at Porky's, Carteret NJ this morning, still waiting for a door... got to love these FCFS places, that allow overnight parking.Wish I could have got here last night, but repowered this load in Carlisle PA, then hustled to get it here this morning. Beats the load I had going to Mt Vernon (NYC) New York. A warehouse that one has to navigate thru a residential district called yonkers.

Wonders what the loads are like out of New Jersey??????

Not Stevens

 

Just graduated from the Stevens School in Dallas today. We started with 23. Graduated 6 of the original group. 2 of the guys trhat were rolled back a week are still there and doing well so, we should end up with 8 of the 23 graduating.

Of the 6 of us that graduated, 4 are flying out tommorow in diff directions to meet up with trainers. I hopefully will get a trainer tommorow but Im a Non Smoker and they say its harder to find Non Smoking Trainers. Just my luck lol.

 

Well its been awhile since I've been able to post on here, but finally got me a laptop and back online WHHOO HOOO! Anyway made it through the training, lucked out and had 3 good trainers. Just getting rdy to go G2. To make a comment on the frieght situation it is slow, its always slow this time of yr at least thats the way it was when I drove b/4 anyway all we can do is accept the crumbs we get and be thankful, it could b worse. They brought me up from Temple,Tx to Lancaster,Tx with 12 little damaged boxes on, so you know its slow if they waste the fuel for that. Hell I could have put those in the floor board on the passenger side and got a full load, but I guess they didn't have the lds, anyway it should get better hang in there guys/gals.
