-
so how many point can one have and not look like a bad driver in companies eyes?
-
Texas DPS violation code 3625 or 3626? Customary fine is approximately $129.00 but can vary between $25 and $500 by statute.
§ 725.022. MAINTAINING NON-LOAD-CARRYING VEHICLE
PARTS. (a) Loose material that is spilled because of loading on a
vehicle part that does not carry the load shall be removed before
the vehicle is operated on a public highway.
(b) After the vehicle is unloaded and before the vehicle is
operated on a public highway, residue of transported loose material
on a vehicle part that does not carry the load shall be removed from
the vehicle part.
Best regards -
thats the $10,000 question. No one seems to have that answer. Also the company gets these points assigned to them as well. I'm sure if you get too many they will tell you "dont get anymore". I got 2 load securements in two years and my safety guy said that to me.

thanks for going the extra mile and finding this for me...as i look at the ticket the officer did not put the violation code number for some reason..but thanks in advance...i also see that he put there was an oil leak and exhaust leak as well but there was no ticket for that so there should be nothing for those right? -
yeah thats what i was afraid of that there was no cut and dry answer for the amount of points one could get...i know it goes on the driver and the company as well so im guessing if a bunch of the company drivers are getting violations the company gets a bad score which would make them crack down on the drivers...? but i have no idea?
-
i wonder how they determine how much? between 25 and 500
-
doesnt have to be a ticket, warnings count as well. Generally anything in the remarks section of the inspection report will be a violation
-
dang...so even though he did not give me a ticket i could get points for the oil leak and exhaust leak...but i should not get fined money correct?
wow...so as a driver should i refuse to drive a truck with an oil leak or how would you handle this issue with the company? i need some help so i can do the right thing and not get into any more trouble with anymore points...
